Research Units

The Project is organized in six Research Units with expertise in structural geology, seismology and geophysics. Five Research Units (RUs) belong to CRUST, an Inter-University Italian Center for Research on 3D Seismotectonics, one RU belongs to INGV.

These are:

RU INGV
RU Messina
RU Pavia
RU Perugia

An Inter-RU working group is formed by a representative of each RU, under the Principal Investigator (PI) leadership. This group favors the full interaction among the RUs, ensure information flow between the WPs and contribute to the building of final Products fully shared among all participants.

The main research products and deliverables are published on high-impact journals and on the CRUST web-site.

They are tailored for three major target audiences:

scientific researchers;
policy and decision makers;
territorial and environmental professionals.
